The team

Meet the people that make Wycombe Futsal happen.

Mark Mullenbach, Chairman

Wycombe Futsal began a few years ago out the need to find something to help improve Marks local grass roots football team. Having a level 2 FA qualification and nearly ten years coaching experience in grass roots clubs he knew how Futsal’s unique rules would be able to benefit his players and began to introduce Futsal into his training. Yet he also knew that merely training Futsal wasn’t enough to get the best out his players and that adequate competition was necessary in order to focus the players abilities. After travelling varying distances to compete in competitions he decided to set up a Local league for player to compete in and so Wycombe Futsal was born! Since beginning Futsal with his youth team not only has his team moved up a division but he has also managed to recruit new players to his team who would like to benefit form playing Futsal.

Mark and his committee are now dedicated to growing the league and create a positive and competitive environment where children can learn and develop.

Martin Wareing, Coach

Martin began his Journey with Wycombe Futsal as a coach entering teams into the league. After falling in love with game and seeing its benefits impacting his players first hand he became one of the league’s biggest ambassadors.

Martin currently coaches at Watford Town Youth and is a level two qualified Futsal coach and several years coaching grassroots football. Martin is also head coach of the Wycombe Futsal League district side and runs the selections and training of the team.

Martin is dedicated and passionate coach and experience and talent will drive the league to achieve great results.

Rupert StClair, Treasurer

From StClair Accountancy, who support Wycombe Futsal.

Rupert and his son Will have been supporting Wycombe Futsal since its initial stages back in 2015. When the decision was made to form an affiliated league it was important to get the right people in place with relevant experience.

Rupert has been Director of St Clair Accountancy for nearly 8 years and manages various accounting solutions for SME businesses in and around Buckinghamshire. Rupert’s deep understanding of accounts ensures Wycombe Futsal’s financials are well looked after and in a correct state of affairs.

Rupert’s Son Will is an emerging young talent current playing for Arsenals elite academy. Since Will has been playing at Arsenal Rupert has noticed how much Futsal has impacted Will`s development and is constantly seeing elements of Futsal coming out in his game. Rupert has realised the impact Futsal can have on young players and happy to be involved with the association as club treasure.
